Careers That Suit Enterprising Personalities And Require Less than a High School Diploma

Most people are one of six personality types according to psychologist John L. Holland who developed a a theory of careers and vocational choice based upon thses personality types. This theory has been well research and has been adopted by the U.S Department of Labor as one of the classification methods for occupations.

The personalities are

  • Realistic (Doers),
  • Investigative (Thinkers),
  • Artistic (Creators),
  • Social (Helpers),
  • Enterprising (Persuaders),
  • and Conventional (Organizers).

The following careers are best suited for those who have a personality that is enterprising and are interested in careers that frequently involve starting up and carrying out projects. These occupations can involve leading people and making many decisions. Sometimes they require risk taking and often deal with business and require a minimum educational equivalent of less than a high school diploma.

Gaming supervisors
Gaming supervisors supervise and coordinate activities of workers in assigned gaming areas. Circulate among tables and observe operations. Ensure that stations and games are covered for each shift.
